The Italian Stallion likes the step aerobics
I can't think of another city that embraces a character of a movie like Philly does with Rocky. Ask anyone who grew up in the area and they'll get a little teary eyed just talking about the films (We'll maybe not Rocky 5, we pretend that never happened). A statue of Rocky (first seen in Rocky III) stands in front of the Art Museum and the famous steps that he ran up in 1976.
The statue has become quite a tourist attraction. No matter what time of day it is, you'll also see people of all ages running up the Art Museum steps just like the famous prize fighter. It's just what you do when you come to Philly.
Why don't you try to run up the art museum steps for good old Rock. He loves ya.
Let take a trip back to 1976 for one of the best scenes in cinematic theater.

Running up the steps is my favorite thing to do in Philly.
Bit of degree of separation: my brother knew one of the kids running behind Stallone in a nearly identical scene from Rocky II...
