traveling riverside blue

"It's pronounced...skoo-kill."

You will hear that a lot. The Skuykill river is one of the 2 major rivers that makes Philadelphia the river city that it is. One of our most prized parks lies on the banks of the river directly behind the Art Museum. Take a stroll down the riverside on Kelly drive for some amazing skyline views. It's a great Sunday getaway for those outdoorsy types who can manage a good pair of roller blades or a mountain bike. If you are into the boating thing, the world famous Dad Vail Regatta is held on these waters.

Or if you want, just hang out riverside with your lady or man of choice and have a picnic. It's a must if you have nothing to do on a beautiful Summer day. Me? I'll just grab a glass of wine and watch the water float by.

If you are one of those people who likes to be on the move....here is some traveling music for ya....click here.
