I'm going southbound
One of the best skyline views (pictured above) in Philadelphia is, or was, from the South Street Bridge...right past the University of Penn. The bridge that lasted for 85 years and was a favorite among photographers worldwide is being torn down and reconstructed. While the bridge was falling apart (literally), and needed to be fixed...it will be missed. It looks like it will take 2-3 years for South Street Bridge 2.0 to open.
So what once was this, will soon be this. I like change. But I'll still miss this view until I can cross the Skuykill River again. And I kind of wish the design was nicer.
You can read more about it here.

I hated the south street bridge. Piece of junk.
